Once, somebody told me that if I wasn't careful, I could become like paper. He meant being light, flying with the wind without willpower. For me, being like paper has a different meaning. I think being like paper is full of opportunities.

A handmade paper sheet is an art as it is; each piece is different and unique. A copy paper is light but can carry heavy thoughts and deep feelings. A journal is Life itself.
I love paper. Always did. I can spend hours and hours in a stationery store browsing letter paper, envelopes, and journals, breathing in the unmistakable scent. And what I like even more is the first line of ink that gives a page meaning.
Your thoughts and feelings are subtle, by writing them down, you give them form. They become real, not just random things flashing through your mind. You can read them, analyze them, understand them at deeper levels, and make connections you wouldn't be able to do otherwise. Or just take the simplest thing:
You will remember them.
In emotionally abusive relationships, it's very common that you are gaslighted, and you start questioning your memory or even your sanity.
I was in a relationship where I repeatedly had to ask myself if I remembered correctly.
I often felt confused and anxious. I desperately needed a reality check. So, I decided to take notes, and the frequency of toxic behavior shocked me.
It can be your boss, co-worker, parent, romantic partner, or your best friend. If you feel unsure what's going on in your relationship, if you hear way too often that "It didn't happen," "I didn't say that, " or "You are crazy," I recommend you buy a journal or
a simple notebook and start writing things down.

I hope you will find them helpful on your healing Journey.
